Content & Conduct Standard

D&A supports legitimate analytical review of difficult subjects. Material may be reviewed when genuinely necessary for journalism, research, education, historical analysis, verification, human-rights documentation or other public-interest purposes. D&A may reject material whose purpose is sexual exploitation or abuse; non-consensual intimate material; child sexual exploitation; promotion or facilitation of trafficking, slavery, torture, genocide, war crimes, forced displacement or serious human-rights abuse; targeted hatred, harassment, dehumanization or violence; credible threats or instructions for abuse or targeted violence; unlawful exposure of private or confidential information; defamatory, fraudulent, unlawfully obtained or knowingly restricted material; or requests for professional determinations D&A is not authorized to provide. D&A may require redaction, a narrower excerpt or a different submission.
